«The European Kids Musical Trip», conceived by Vincent Beer-Demander, is the Erasmus project that placed the mandolin at the centre of a European network for teaching and education. Born from a concrete gap: in Italy, Belgium, Portugal and France the instrument was taught unevenly, often without dedicated paths for the youngest. The project created a pedagogical repertoire for young pupils, trained qualified teachers and gave life to children's orchestras.
From January 2024 to May 2025 it travelled across Europe with five mobilities between Sorrento, Marseille, Benevento, Madeira and Muret, leading to an open and inclusive teaching method, organised around six key themes ranging from Posture to the Musician's Wellbeing, now freely available and adaptable by teachers and musicians throughout Europe.
